Borderlands 4 is set to release on September 12, with Gearbox Software announcing official launch times for the game. The title will unlock at 9 PM PT on September 11 for players to start playing, which translates to midnight Eastern on September 12. • Xbox Series X|S follows the same schedule as PlayStation 5.

• Nintendo Switch 2 version will be released on October 3, later than the originally announced September 23 date for other versions.

The standard edition of Borderlands 4 will cost $70 at launch. 2K and Gearbox are also offering more expensive editions, including a $100 deluxe edition, a $130 super deluxe edition, and a $150 collector's edition.
