Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR: New Content and Gameplay Changes
The Diablo 4 Season 10 Public Test Realm (PTR) will be available from August 19 to August 26 for PC players. The update will introduce a revamp of Infernal Hordes, a new boss, and a new unique armor type called Chaos Armor. The revamp includes new Chaos Monsters that provide shrine-like buffs when defeated, optional Chaos Waves that increase difficulty for higher Aether rewards, and a new boss fight with Vizjerei Warlord Bartuc. Players will need to spend Aether to fight Bartuc, who promises increased rewards upon defeat. A new game mode called Fleeting Hordes will also be introduced for pre-Torment tiers, consisting of four waves and two Fell Council members at the end. Chaos Armor will allow players to harness the power of Chaos, with items dropping in slots different from their original ones, enabling new builds and combinations. Diablo 4 players on PC can opt into the PTR through the Battle.net app, including Game Pass players.
